One of my absolute favourite times of the day to capture beautiful shots is during golden hour. When Beth & Holly got in touch to arrange their summer engagement shoot, I knew Curbar Edge was the perfect opportunity for a sunset session.

When you combine one of my favourite Derby wedding venues with a team of creative wedding suppliers, you get a whole lot of wedding inspiration. We got our heads together and created some stunning spring wedding inspiration for you to feast your eyes on.

Curbar Edge is seriously one of my all-time favourite spots for engagement shoots. I recently had a session with the lovely Pippa & Tom, along with their adorable pup Elton, and it was just magical.

Grab a brew and have a scroll through Danielle & Andy’s beautiful summer wedding at The River Mill. Dried Flowers, a fringed Dress and all the big smiles & belly laughs.

The sunflower field was about to bid adieu for the summer, but I met with Alice and Tom for their pre-wedding session to revel in the beauty at Barlow Sunflowers, Derbyshire.

For Jamie & Seb’s engagement session we headed to one of my favourite spots, Black Rocks. An amazing woodland trail with the most breathtaking views of the Derwent Valley.

This location offers so much for than the treelined paths. With the urban outbuildings + graffitied walls, you get this awesome of mix of urban and woodland that suited the K&C perfectly.

Let’s throw it back to April 2022 to Lucy & Matt’s wedding at the oh-so-cool Amalfi White in Melbourne, Derby. I think we lost track of how many time we postponed their wedding day but, my, it was worth the wait! Neon Signs, The best bride tribe, personalised leather jacket, statement headband and a whole lotta L.O.V.E.
