An Unforgettable Black Rocks Engagement Shoot Adventure
I wanted to tell you about this awesome photoshoot I did recently with Jamie & Seb. It was a blustery winter’s day, but we didn’t let that stop us. We headed to one of my favourite spots, Black Rocks. Have you been there before? It’s this amazing woodland trail situated on a hill with the most breathtaking views of the Derwent Valley.
Exploring Black Rocks: A Hidden Gem for Engagement Sessions
Anyway, we took a short walk up to this spot that overlooks Matlock and the Derbyshire dales. Well, I say short walk, but honestly, we were so busy chatting and laughing that I completely missed the turning point for the right path! Oops! But you know what? We just had a good giggle about it and ended up getting some super cute photos anyway. Gotta love those spontaneous moments, right?
Engagement Shoots in Derbyshire
By the way, I always encourage engagement sessions with my clients – and guess what? I include them for free with my full day packages. It’s a great chance to get to know each other, get comfortable in front of the camera, and of course, to capture some beautiful memories. And let me tell you, Derbyshire and the Peak District have so many stunning places to explore. We can go on a wander wherever you fancy. Take a look at some more pre wedding shoots here.
Oh, and did I mention that Jamie & Seb are planning their wedding at the amazing West Mill in Darley Abbey? It’s going to be absolutely fantastic. I love working with couples to capture their engagement and wedding photography, not just at Black Rocks in Derbyshire, but wherever their love story takes them.
Alright, that’s all for now. Just wanted to share this little adventure with you. Can’t wait to catch up and hear what’s new with you!
