Styling Ideas at The West Mill, Darley Abbey

When you combine one of my favourite Derby wedding venues with a team of creative wedding suppliers, you get a whole lot of wedding inspiration. It’s a little industry secret that during quieter months, we love to come together and get creative. So we got our heads together and created some stunning spring wedding inspiration for you to feast your eyes on.

Spring Wedding Inspiration at The West Mill

At this particular shoot, we paired soft pastel florals with neon lights and the stunning brick walls of The West Mill. It was such an amazing juxtaposition of textures and styles which works so well at The West Mill. The styling, led by Tara Knott, was absolutely on point. Tineke Floral Designs provided the beautiful blooms, while Polly & Me created stunning stationery with her signature calligraphy.

The West Mill offers countless photo opportunities. So we took real model couple, Becky & George for a tour of the venue to capture some portraits. From quiet intimate moments to fun champagne sprays outside we had a laugh creating these images. Oh and spot the ice cream van, a must for a spring summer wedding reception, no?
