One of the best locations in The Peak District for a pre-wedding session

Curbar Edge is seriously one of my all-time favourite spots for engagement shoots. It’s so easy to get to from Chesterfield, Derby, or Sheffield, and the views up there are just absolutely breathtaking. I recently had a session with the lovely Pippa & Tom, along with their adorable pup Elton, and it was just magical. Even though the sun was playing a little hard to get, the moody skies made for some seriously stunning shots.

Bringing your dog to your engagement session is always a good idea

I always strive to keep things super relaxed during my sessions because I know not everyone feels totally comfortable in front of the camera. It’s not just about snapping photos for me, it’s about creating a fun and enjoyable experience for the couple. I encourage bringing some props along if you want to and if you have a four legged friend, that;s always fun and can take your mind off having your photos taken taken too.

I offer complimentary engagement sessions to those who book my full day coverage, and I always love getting the chance to meet and connect with the couples before the big day.
