Intimate Ceremonies at Lichfield Registry Office

How lucky am I to have photographed the beautiful wedding of Stacey and Laurence. The day started with an intimate ceremony at Lichfield Registry Office.

After the I do’s, we spilled out in to Beacon Park for some confetti throwing and group photos. The atmosphere was pure joy and passers by congratulated celebrated the newlyweds. Laurence looked very dapper in his black tie suit, and let’s take a moment to appreciate Stacey’s veil. It was custom embroidered with the date and their initials, a beautiful keepsake for years to come.

Wedding Portraits at Lichfield Cathedral

Lichfield Registry Office is in a great location, set in the park and just a short walk from the city’s Cathedral, it wasn’t hard to take some relaxed portraits en route to the reception. The quiet cobbled street and period homes and of course the Cathedral itself, we had the best background to play with.

Small Registry Office Wedding in Lichfield

One thing I loved about these guys is that they did things their own way. They kept it simple and stress-free, which is exactly how we like it. Weddings should be about what makes you happy, and if all the traditional fluff isn’t your thing, then you don’t have to do it.

The celebrations continued at Bistro 19, a charming cafe that can be hired for private events. The atmosphere was cosy, with dark walls and eclectic interiors. The drinks were flowing, and the dinner was absolutely delicious.

I was hired for three hours to capture the special moments of this gorgeous wedding. My hourly micro but magic package was the perfect fit for their intimate affair. I was able to capture the ceremony, group photos, portraits, and even the speeches before dinner.
